Thanksgiving turkey...
... and other things Jen and I will not be in Evanston to enjoy this year.
It was announced that the Grand Marshal for the NU homecoming game this year will be Stephen Colbert.
The announcement doesn't say if he will give a speech or be at a reception or anything like that, but I still think that there's bound to be something.Alas, Jen and I will be enjoying good-'ole Mexican hospitality that weekend at my niece's quinceañera.

Finally, we get someone besides the weird woman from star trek voyager and i'm missing it.
She's not weird, she's damn HOT.
I went to several quinceanaras when I was in high school. They're great fun and you usually leave so full of food you want to die. Are you going to California or Mexico?
As for Mr. Colbert, my jury is still out on Homecoming. I went the first two years after graduation, and it was kind of a non-event. But I do enjoy his show. We'll see.
