The last day wasn't really anything to write home about. I was actually very busy, busier than I've been in a few weeks - mostly because I wanted to do a good job transitioning my work over to the other people on my team. I don't know why... I don't exactly "owe" them anything, but I guess I'm not the type of person who would screw a former employer.
At the end of the day I deleted all 550 emails in my inbox. Some of them went all the way back to my first few days on the job.
It was also very strange walking out of the building for the last time. I've spent literally thousands of hours in that building, and now it's pretty likely I'll never set foot inside it again.
Not sad, or poignant, or meaningful or anything, just... weird.

Seriously... have a great last day.
So, any plans for the near future yet?
Wow. The west coast is back in the swing of things :)
