It must be time to visit.

I saw this article in my morning surf of the NYTimes online.

My question is: why is the Times writing about Evanston? Aren't there plenty of other suburbs that are doing interesting things?

Also, the fact that I read the whole article makes me think that it is probably time to come back and visit E-town, just to get a feel for all the changes.

"Klutznick-Fisher Development Company" sounds like one of those experimental rock bands from the 70's.

To entice your return, I will add that today is the first snow day here in lovely Evanston.

Man, I bet you can't wait for that come December.

December? Sheeit. We'll be in Ohio come Saturday.

Just for comparison's sake, it was a record-setting 79 degrees here yesterday. Don't expect that come December.

"You can't walk a block in downtown Evanston without hitting at least two coffeehouses," - My favorite quote from the article.

Sample block- Sherman between Clark and Church now contains the following places where one can get coffee (on both sides of the street): Einstein Bagels, New Coffee Shop, Unicorn Coffee Shop, Starbucks in Barnes and Noble, Cosi, Dunkin Donuts, Internet Cafe, Starbucks and Panera.

That's a lot of caffeine :)

p.s. who's sniffles? name thyself.
